Our Celebration Choir is open to anyone who attends Heartland Worship Center. There is no experience required. We only ask that you have a desire to use your voice to praise and lift up the name of Jesus and be committed to being at rehearsal and morning worship services. Our rehearsals are on Wednesday nights from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the choir room and we meet each Sunday morning at 9 a.m. in the sanctuary to warm up for morning worship.
purpose of the praise band is to lead our congregation each week through instrumental music. They lead in our Sunday morning and Sunday night worship services. Being a part of this group requires an audition and an interview and that you sign our worship team covenant. Common instrumentation used in our services includes acoustic and electric guitars, bass guitar, piano and keyboards, drums and percussion, mandolin and violin. We do not, however, limit ourselves to the use of just those instruments.
rehearsals are Wednesday nights from 7:15 p.m. to 9 p.m., on Sunday mornings at 8 a.m., and on Sunday afternoons at 4:30 p.m. Bands will rotate on a weekly basis.
Praise Teams serve our church as lead worshippers during our times of worship. Requirements include an audition, interview, membership in the Celebration Choir, and signing the Praise Team Covenant. Rehearsals are on Wednesday nights from 7:15 p.m. - 9 p.m., Sunday mornings at 8:30 a.m., and Sunday afternoons at 5:00 p.m. Each team will serve one Sunday per month.
This includes two video camera operators that operate in the Sanctuary and a video switcher that operates in the video booth on a weekly basis. Training is required for both of these positions. We ask that you be willing to serve at least one Sunday each month in this ministry.

A period of training is required for this position based on history in dealing with sound equipment and operating a soundboard in a worship setting. Our lighting engineer is asked to participate in our Sunday morning worship services. Training is required for this position.
We currently use Pro Presenter as our presentation software. A period of training and a basic knowledge of computers are required for this position. You are asked to serve one Sunday a month in both our morning and evening worship services.
