1) What should I wear at Heartland Worship Center?

We encourage you to dress comfortably. Some people dress up but most wear casual and comfortable clothes. We don't want you to be worried about what you wear. You will not feel out of place.

2) How do I contact a staff member?

Our main line for the church is 270-534-1400. We also have a staff listing on our website.

3) What are your office hours?

Our office hours are Mondsy-Friday, 8:30-4:30 p.m.

4) How can I find out more about the church?

There are several ways to do this. Explore our website and you will learn alot about the ministries and staff. Come to our Starting Point class and we will go in depth with you about the history and beliefs of the church as well as look at how you can plug in. Our pastors are also available to you to answer any questions you might have.

5) Does Heartland Worship Center affiliate with any particular denomination?

Yes, we do. We are members of the Southern Baptist Convention and Kentucky Baptist Convention. We especially love the missional emphasis of the SBC.

6) What style of music is in your worship services?

HWC offers a blended style of music. We worship the Lord through contemporary praise music as well as hymns. We believe that all music has redeeming value as long as it lifts up the name of the Lord.

7) How do I join HWC?

We call our members Heartland Missionaries because we believe God has called his body to make the name of Jesus known to a broken and dying world.

To join our church you must profess your faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. You must also be baptized by immersion. If you are a member of a church of like practice then you can join by transfer of membership.

8) Where do my children go on Sunday morning?

We have a safe environment for them from nursery through fifth grade. We have children's church and Sunday school available for all children. We have a preschool department that takes kids through different learning centers. Our nursery offers great care for the infants. Check out the Children's page for more info.

9) What about for my youth?

We have Sunday school classes at 8:00, 9:15, and 10:45 for middle and high school youth. There are bible studies on Sunday night for the youth and small group discipleship on Wednesday nights. Check out the youth page for more info.
